grill ribeye steakRibeye steak may be one of the most forgiving steaks to cook, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t learn the proper technique how to grill a ribeye steak to perfection:

  • Choose a decent sized steak (at least 1/8 inch thick)
  • Don’t pick the leanest steak - it may be healthier, but it won’t taste as good
  • Marinate your steak for 2-4 hours before grilling
  • Cook your steak slowly, this will help keep it from drying out and becoming tough
  • Remove from the heat a few minutes before you think it is done. Most steaks tend to keep cooking after being removed form the grill, so taking it off sooner will make sure it does not get overcooked.

Learning how to grill a ribeye steak really isn’t difficult. You basically just follow the same rules as you would to cook any other cut of meat.
